Riderwood Village

Erickson Retirement Communities, formerly Senior Campus Living, is one of the county's largest developers of independent and assisted living retirement communities. Riderwood consists of 2,500 residences arranged into four villages, each with a campus-like quadrangle as the focal point for the 5 story buildings. Each village has a town center with several restaurants/cafes, shops, library, clubrooms, indoor pools, banks, and personal services. The community has as its fifth component an assisted living nursing and congregate care unit for seniors who need moderate to intensive care.

The gated community features a chapel, community gardens, lakeside park, and amphitheater. Residents may walk around the entire complex along second floor glass corridors that link all four town centers and the congregate care center. These glass corridors offer beautiful views of each of the quads that have their own landscape themes and special features. The entire campus is designed as a beautiful park replete with gardens and water features.
