North Bethesda Center

This landmark project will be one of the largest mixed-use transit-oriented developments in the National Capital Region. ParkerRodriguez worked with the team of consultants, including architects CooperCarry, DHPY, HOK, RTKL, DHPY, and WDG, to create a true urban environment while preserving a grove of specimen trees in the middle of this complex 27-acre site.

The plan envisions a bridge over the Metro tracks and incorporating an existing Metro Station and parking garage into the fabric of the new shopping district. PRI is designing all of the streetscapes and public plazas including the Main Plaza with its beautiful grove of mature trees that will provide an immediate sense of place. ParkerRodriguez has also planned and provided the landscaping for the adjoining million square foot White Flint Place for Donohoe Development Company including offices, retail and 480 apartments.
