Rock Spring Centre

Rock Spring Centre is a major, new, mixed-use development town center to be built in Rock Spring Park in Montgomery County, Maryland. Rock Spring Park is located at the intersection of Interstate 270 and Interstate 495 and is perhaps the premier commercial real estate site in Montgomery County.

The development plan allows for the development of 900,000 sf of Class A office, 300,000 sf of retail, a 150-room hotel and spa and 854 residential units (condominium and multifamily). The development plan includes a 12-acre park that will separate the multifamily from the retail. The architecture of the buildings will accentuate the natural elements in the park and will provide a distinctive hillside setting unique to Montgomery County.

The project has been themed after a hillside Tuscan village with a variety of levels and retail alleys over a podium of underground parking. This unique retail environment is filled with fountains, planters, a variety of seating and special paving and lighting, making it a true discovery experience. This complex also includes the only Canyon Ranch Spa in the Mid Atlantic region and a hotel serving the National Capital Region. ParkerRodriguez is designing all the outdoor elements including residential, roof top and amenity terraces, main street and retail alleys, hotel, the Spa and the nature park.
