While working with the OLIN Studio for the implementation of the Alexandria Waterfront Plan. Work included analysis, design, illustrations, and cost estimates for the study area. The plan was an evolution of the master plan and included a series of public meetings to evaluate alternative concepts for the core area, in the heart of the historic district.

The study area included several parks some of which hosted small renovations, while other areas underwent a complete transformation. The resultant plan is a complex tapestry of highly furnished urban plazas at the core of Alexandria. Tying the parks together is a broad promenade with unified lighting, seating, and paving materials.

The planning process also included the review and commentary on two key private developments in the study area. PR coordinated such features as the promenade, public spaces, service and loading, and streetscape design standards so that both the public park and the private development had common elements and were seamless in their expression.
