City Ridge

Washington D.C.

Located in the fashionable Northwest Washington, DC neighborhood of Glover-Archibold Park, City Ridge is positioned to be a new destination point in the city and a catalyst for future development. This $650 million urban village will be centered around the refurbished and repurposed Fannie Mae Headquarters building. The village will consist of eight new buildings augmenting the historic building and grounds. The 1.2 million square feet of mixed use development will include 750 residential units and 250,000 square feet of commercial space.

Parker Rodriguez was engaged to create all of the rooftop amenities for all of the eight new structures as well as several ground level courtyards and a playground for a daycare facility. Each roof terrace has been designed to incorporate a unique program. These spaces and amenities include a meadow garden and greenhouses, zen garden, yoga space, daycare and discovery playground, outdoor maker studio, demonstration kitchen, coffee bar, and reading lounge. The central feature terrace is designed to support the Community Health and Fitness Club and pool.
