This project was part of a larger renovation for the prestigious law firm in downtown Washington DC. Working closely with the project architect, our team reimagined this rooftop terrace of bland pavers and rock ballast as an oasis in the sky with grand views to the monuments. Lush plantings and comfortable furnishings invite people to gather and provide a place for respite from the day’s stresses. Rooms within the overall space were thoughtfully defined by planters that contain herbs and flowering plants that attract a great diversity of pollinators.
