Located in the south east quadrant of downtown DC, Park Kennedy is a luxury apartment building that will serve as the gateway to the Hill East neighborhood development. The project includes the design and construction of an interior courtyard and rooftop amenity space.

The interior courtyard takes its aesthetic from the surrounding building architecture which includes a heavy emphasis on the site’s industrial history. Materials were thoughtfully considered to marry the architecture with the landscape and creates a seamless transition from interior to exterior space. This became especially significant as the building includes a large 3-story atrium space which overlooks the courtyard. Fantastic views from this space pull people outdoors and invites them to enjoy the programmed amenities. A custom water feature, bocce court, fitness lawn, custom overhead trellis, and fire pit lounge spaces allow residents to pass through the space comfortably and creates a variety of niches for every use.

At the rooftop, additional amenities are available for residents. An outdoor kitchen, custom fire feature, water feature, and dog run make use of this unique space. Views of the Capital building and Washington Monument make fantastic additions to this industrial inspired project.
