Located in the North Hill Community at the University of Maryland College Park Campus, this seven story residence hall houses 462 students in a combination of singles, doubles, and four-person semi-suites. The dormitory is located across from the Business School within a grand quad green. The building is approached from the green through a series of steps that rise to an amenity terrace complete with picnic tables and grills. Terraced walls facilitate informal seating by students as they converse, study, or contemplate on the large green. Many sustainable features have been implemented throughout the site including rain gardens, high-efficiency irrigation, and dark-sky compliant LED lighting; all of which all contribute to the environmental quality and becoming educational opportunities.
