Shan Ling is a landscape designer and is a recent new member at PRI. She participates in a variety of projects and assists senior staff from concept to construction administration. Prior to PRI, she gained her BLA degree in China and MLA degree in United States, with an internship in a non-profit design firm in Rwanda and an internship in an engineering firm in New York State. With her rich experiences in different areas and roles, she celebrates diversity of the world and strives to have a deeper understanding of various user groups and environment, which motivates her to do site-specific and user-oriented design.

Shan believes the details are what decide success or failure within a design. Because of this, she is attentive to details and strives to impact users and bring the best design by creating functional and aesthetic details.

In her leisure time, Shan is an avid fan of anime culture. She watches an average of 50 episodes per season and picks her favorite ones to contribute her fan art. She strives to explore new techniques in digital drawing and attends Anime NYC every year.
