Vincy Tam joined ParkerRodriguez as a Landscape Designer in December 2021. She participates in numerous ongoing projects and assists senior staff in all phases of project development, ranging from conceptual design to construction administration. With her background in green roofs and horticulture, she is very excited to apply her knowledge to each project, participate in all phases, and learn.

Before joining the team, she earned hands-on horticulture knowledge by working at one of Michigan's largest nurseries and garden centers as a landscape designer and sales. In addition, she also worked at the Infrastructure, Planning, and Facilities Department in Michigan State University, interned at a multidisciplinary firm specializing in coastal environments, and completed a thesis on green roofs for her master's degree. With her experiences in different areas and roles, she is passionate about cooperating sustainability into modern living environments and creating aesthetical, practical, and enjoyable places that serve humans and benefit the natural environment.

As a plant enthusiast and a self-motivated individual, she always tries to take on new challenges and learn new things, especially plants. She believes life is an adventure journey. All challenges, ups, and downs make life meaningful and exciting.

Vincy loves to cook. She either experiments or creates a new recipe every weekend. In addition, she brings her cat everywhere she travels.
