Firm OVERVIEW

PARKERRODRIGUEZ was founded in 1996 as a full-service land planning, landscape architecture, and urban design firm serving public and private clients across the United States. Since our founding we have embraced the best emerging practices in conservation, new urbanism, sustainability, livable community design, urban design, and landscape architecture. During that time we have led visioning, design, and master planning processes for some of the most innovative campus, institutional, mixed-use, and urban design projects under development today. 

We have extensive experience working in close collaboration with public planners, citizens, multi-disciplinary design teams, and artists in the creation of award-winning projects. This integrated collaborative design process encourages the client, landscape architect, architect, artist, engineers, and graphic consultants to work together from the inception, resulting in a concept design that is imaginative, sensitive to the community, authentic and enduring, while creating truly memorable places. 

Our firm is located in Old Town Alexandria, and consists of 20 professionals and support staff.
