Mr. McClure, an Associate Principal of the firm, has served as Lead Designer and Project Manager for a broad variety of projects with differing scales, scopes and complexities.  His project experience includes urban plazas, streetscapes, parks, recreational facilities, student housing, resort communities, mixed-use development, embassies, government facilities, and residential gardens.

Mr. McClure possesses over three decades of experience in the practice of landscape architecture and urban design.  As he has honed his skills in the craft of landscape architecture, his experience has allowed him to bring an in depth understanding of the land, the city, natural systems, and a strong technical foundation to each project. He has a keen interest and focus on implementing functional landscape strategies in his projects whenever possible. He approaches each project by looking to the site and its context for design inspiration and influences to create unique and compelling landscapes.

He has devoted his career to improving and enhancing the urban fabric, especially in the Washington Metropolitan Area, by creating valuable and thoughtfully designed spaces.  Examples of some of this large scale, complex work include the Georgetown Streetscape Improvement Plan, the Alexandria Waterfront Implementation Plan, the Ronald Reagan Building, Constitution Square, and the Armature Works at the New York Avenue Metro.

Craig enjoys cycling, listening to music, and searching for the perfect bottle of wine or whiskey.
